Our plant in Roales receives AENOR's Zero Waste certificate

The Audens Food plant in Roales (Zamora) has just received the Zero Waste Management System certification issued by AENOR. This plant joins the ones in Granollers, Balsareny and Parets, which have had this certification since 2023 and renewed it in 2024. We can proudly say that in all our plants in Spain, we have reclaimed 96% of the waste, keeping it out of the landfill.

This achievement reaffirms our values and confirms our Commitment to Sustainability and the Environment, as set out in our “Feeding a sustainable future” plan, which is consistent with the UN's sustainable development goals. This plan aims to expand the reach and involvement of every department, with clear annual action plans and targets. Along these lines, and to establish, consolidate and deploy our cross-cutting methodology of Continuous Improvement, the company's Industrial Committee monitors the defined indicators and associated action plans.

Audens Food's next goal is for our plant in Almada (Portugal) to be Zero Waste certified, as well as to continue working to ensure that our plants in Spain maintain and consolidate their certifications.
